Astronomy Science ~ These three bright nebulae are often featured in telescopic tour of the Sagittarius constellation, dense star clusters of the center of galaxy. In fact, cosmic explorers in the 18th century - Charles Messier categorize them as M8 (large nebula on the left of center) colorful M20 at right, and NGC 6559 (above the M8) separated from the larger nebula by a dark dust lane.

All three are nurseries star (stellar nursery) is about five thousand light-years away. M8, over a hundred light years away, is also known as the Lagoon Nebula. Popular designation M20 is the Trifid. Glowing hydrogen gas to form the dominant red color of the emission nebulae, with contrasting blue color - the most striking in the Trifid, due to dust reflected starlight.
