Astronomy Science ~ The black hole is part of Space and Time which has the most powerful gravity, even light could not escape. You can not see black holes directly because the border around his mouth (called the "event horizon") captures light in it. But like an invisible wind, which caused the tree to sway when blowing, we believe there is also a black hole because of their effect on the environment.

Many black holes form from massive stars that shattered into a supernova. Supermassive black holes are believed to inhabit almost all nuclei of galaxies in the universe. Including the core of our galaxy.

1. Our Ancestor might Seeing the Milky Way Black Hole

About two million years ago, the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy burst with emit light radiation. At that time, the new man began to walk upright. Our ancestors may see the light of the size of a moon in the southern sky that looked like a ball of light or stains.

The black hole at the core of our galaxy called Sagittarius A* (A-star) is now calm. But at that time, our galaxy is believed to be an active galactic nucleus (AGN), a galaxy with a very bright core. Black holes are longer eat may be the source of AGN when the gravitational pull of interesting material, forming a disc of hot and glowing. If the disc attract large amounts of material, two bright jets of high-energy particles will be thrown upright and spinning of the black hole.

2. Not All Big Energy In The Universe Come from Black Holes

For decades, many scientists believe that the source of X-rays that are very bright, known as ultraluminous X-ray source (ULX) caused by a black hole eating a star or other things.

When a big black hole gravity pulls gas from its nearest star, attracted to gas down to form an accretion disk around the black hole. Like water circling before it disappears, the gas is accelerated, very high temperatures to release X-ray bright light in all directions. The larger the black hole eating, the brighter the light.

But this is only a theory. Then, in a nearby galaxy M82, astronomers accidentally discovered ULX sources are pulsed, emitting bright X-ray beam that sweeps past the Earth every 1.37 seconds as a beacon of light. The problem is, the black hole is not pulsed. The new pulsar pulsate.

Pulsars are rotating neutron star (the remnants of a dying star that is not large enough to become a black hole) that emit X-ray light from the magnetic poles like a lighthouse light just described. But pulsars in the galaxy M82 100 times brighter at its mass appeal. It should not be a source of ULX.

"You might think this pulsar as Mighty Mouse from the remnants of stars," said Fiona Harrison of the California Institute of Technology. "It has all the power of a black hole with a mass much less. Pulsar seems to be eating a diet equivalent to a black hole." Astronomers now have to reexamine another ULX sources to see if they are pulsed.

3. More Greed Than Imagined

Until now, scientists thought that the black hole size determines the speed of the peak where he could eat and produce light (Eddington limit). Then they found the P13, a black hole in the galaxy NGC7793, which revolve around a supergiant star. But P13 often taking gas star companion star is 10 times faster than astronomers estimate.

P13 is believed to be 15 times smaller than our sun and a million times brighter. It has the ability to devour the companion star in less than a million years, very fast in cosmic time. The small black hole is consuming material weighing about 100 billion billion hot dogs every minute. Such as pulsars M82, P13 is an X-ray source ultraluminous which also violate the boundaries of Eddington. Astronomers now realize that there may not be about how many black holes could eat.
