Astronomy Science ~ For the first time, astronomers have discovered a baby four-star system. By using the Very Large Array (VLA) and the Green Bank Telescope (GBT), astronomers observed the formation of multi-star system, with findings that support a number of theories about how the system is produced.

An international team of scientists are observing a gas cloud called Barnard 5 (B5), is about 800 light years from Earth.

They focus on the core gas containing a young protostar and three dense gas condensation which would collapse into a star about 40,000 years - a relatively short time in astronomical terms.

The findings, published in the journal Nature, provide the first look like what formation of star systems. The researchers believe that out of four stars, three will live to be a three-star system stable.

This system is formed by filaments fragment gas clouds are far apart, which is located in the constellation Perseus. Condensable gas clouds quickly through the force of gravity to form stars.

All of this star will be a star relatively small - about 10 times the mass of our sun.

Jaime Pineda from the Institute for Astronomy, ETH Zurich, said: ". We know that these stars will eventually form a multi-star systems because our observations suggest that the condensed gas is gravitationally bound, and this is the first time we were able to demonstrate that the system The young gravitationally bound.

"It gives a fantastic evidence that the fragmentation of filaments of gas is a process that can produce a binary star system."

After analyzing the condensed gas, astronomers estimated that the stars will form a stable system in orbit by three stars. The fourth star is not going to remain a part of the system, they said. Pineda explained: "star systems with more than three members would be unstable and prone to interference."

Stella Offner, an astrophysicist at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, said that they can use this information to gain greater insight about the formation of planets and stars. The process of formation of the Sun we do not like this.
